Womens strength?
as of recently my fiance and i hold had a problem
she has be on the pill for about 4 months or so now and this olden week when she started she was a day behind time.. by the 4th day of her period we notice a rather unpleasant smell, kind of resembling fowl old blood.. does anyone know what this could be caused by? or when it will travel away?

The dark blood you noticed could be any two things- just the end of the menstrual cycle (I know several women on the pill who this happens to) or a bacterial infection.It seems to me that it is newly the end of her cycle. It could just be frail blood that didn't flow out. Period blood can have an odor but it only have an odor when it hits air, so, older blood can own a bit of a stronger smell. This isn't anything to worry about.
If the blood be accompanied by bad cramping, itching, or pelvic pain- I would reflect it would be more of a bacterial infection.
I wouldn't worry too much. If your fiancee feels unsure later tell her to make a dr's appointment.

im no doctor, but my guess would be that it is from bacteria. when you hold your period bacteria comes out along near the lining of your uterus.when your on the pill, your periods are usually shorter and lighter, so germs is probably just built up. i honestly dont thini its anything to worry roughly speaking. tell her to use pads for a while if she uses tampons, or to conversion them frequently to avoid the possibility of TSS(toxic shock syndrome)
