I don't know if this is considered spotting, what causes this though?

it's resembling within the pray. of your extent when it's a bit bit but mostly brown and every presently and afterwards a bit more red. it's slimy and i own never have this in the past even though i'm 21...own an appt near my gyno on the 29th, but only wondering if anyone here could contribute me a head up. Thanks!
