Started BC pill in the morning, got period in afternoon - what now?

I've be past its sell-by date BC pills for 2 years in a minute but I needed to steal BC pills so I would not catch my length on my time off (leaving Saturday). I took one yesterday morning and later yesterday afternoon I started spotting. If I stop taking the pills, will this throw my hormones into a state that will prolong my interval? or Should I verbs taking them?

If I started my interval the morning after a pap will it affect the results?
