Bleeding while on birth control?

i in recent times lately started taking birth control and for former times three days i own done zilch but bleed. at first i thought that it be probably jus because i havn't hold sex surrounded by a long time since my husband be deployed, but immediately he have be home for 5 days immediately and i am still seeing blood it be in recent times outstandingly lighting in a minute once contained by a while its resembling prevailing conditions still reading light but not that much, is this majority or what should i be consern or not, should i lately be in motion to the doctor to see if nearby is something wrong or not? please relieve anything that possibly of assistance will be great
