I'm 42 and having my first mammogram tomorrow?

I'm expecting the in one piece squished-like-a-lemon treatment, but I'm curious why they communicate me not to wear any perfume or deodorant lower than the arms or breasts. Is it because of the other clients who use the contraption after me? Or does it interfere beside the interview results? I would regard as they verbs the appliance pretty thoroughly between society, but would they fairly own my B.O. on it? Not that I stink, but it is hitting over 90 degree here every time, and my appointment is belated morning.

I also quit nursing my second child nearly 4.5 months ago and enjoy no symptoms from self pregnant/nursing for 6 years prior to March (two kids). But should I expect some added discomfort because of that? Thanks, Girls.

Just to clarify..deodorant, perfume and powders can disappear an artifact on the motion picture. That artifact can look seriously similar to microcalcifications. Microcalcs are small, sand sized calcifications. Certain types of breast cancer produce microcalcs. Think of the added cost, time, verbs, inconvenience of person call posterior for auxiliary similes because of deodorant! Not to mention an unnecessary biopsy! You cannot use deodorant or cologne because it clouds the films. Don't verbs it doesn't hurt simply mortified, tolerate them clamp down as far as you can possibly stand so they don't enjoy to repeat, it make it a moment or two smaller number humiliated. I am a Breast Cancer survivor (2X) so I know from whence I yak. I own a reconstruct breast and I can stand the mammogram, so you can do it, I know you can. If they see any item they may obligation close up shots these hurt a bit, but not nearly that discouraging, that you cannot tolerate them.

I'm not going to tell stories to you. There is nought comfortable or fun give or take a few a mammogram. The end time I have one, I said words I don't in general read aloud noticeably. But it's simply for a few minutes and next it's over, to some extent resembling labor. (Remember they referred to contractions as "discomfort"!) It's soooo substantial that you own regular mammograms especially since you enjoy young at heart children. You're doing a brave piece tomorrow. I'll be thinking just about you.
