Birth control pill causing intolerance to contact lenses--help?
Since anyone on the pill for a while, I enjoy have increasing difficulty wearing my contact lenses (*extremely* red eyes) and can narrowly wear them at adjectives any more. I enjoy tried multiple brands of contacts, contemporary solution, etc to no avail. All the literature I can find on the pill does mention that "intolerance to contact lenses" is a potential side effect. Does anyone know of a singular brand of the pill that doesn't exact this problem, or cause it smaller number? Any pill-takers or OB-GYN's out nearby next to experience surrounded by this concern? Birth control pills are hormones.
The effect of hormones is:
a) motive marginal to severe dry eye (i.e. smaller quantity moisture surrounded by eyes)
b) Change curvature of cornea (the front-most blanket of eye on which the contact lens glides)
Please grasp the fitting rechecked
Use lubricating eye drops approaching "Blink" or "revitalize Contacts" over your lens while wearing them.
I'm on alesse and despite adjectives the discouraging reviews it get, I love that pill.
I get no side affects, I'm still not pregnant, and I didn't gain that much freight on it...just about 5 lbs but lost it anyway!

I've hear of this past. I muse it have something to do beside the Fit of the contacts after taking the pill. Maybe you stipulation to enjoy your fit used to?Have you asked your eye doc more or less this?what do you have an idea that happen to me?
Talk to your doctor. You might basically want to switch brands. You should also bargain to your eye doctor.
