I am currently on day 12 of my menstrual cycle. I wonder if I can start taking the pills now mid cycle?

I am on morning 12 of my cycle and I'm not currently taking the pill. I of late found out I will be going on holiday around day 30 of my cycle, and I will be have sexual intercourse next. I hold researched on the web and they recommend to individual start at the launch or on year 5. But I don't hold this luxury right in a minute. I wonder if I can start taking the pill very soon and keep hold of taking through the holidays? They articulate as long as I pocket 7 busy pills, I should be protected from falling pregnant. What should I do? My crucial concern is getting pregnant but skipping my spell during my holidays would be accurate too.
