What to expect at a consultation for a colposcopy?
Answers:
Consultations are usually done when we are seeing a unmarked doctor, if a Pap interview be not done by this doctor he may want to do his own Pap try-out at this time.
Generally a longer appointment time is given when a doctor is doing the colpocscopy.
The best path to find out what this doctors protocol is would be to ring and ask the personality who schedule the appointment what will be done at this pop in.
As you know no bowel prep is done for this procedure...largely no prep is needed but some gals do thieve a non-aspirin product as the biopsy may pinch a bit.
I am sure your doctor will explain how he would similar to you to prepare for the colposcopy.
Information on your colposcopy and the biopsy results can be found at
The American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology

It will only be a consultation. If they be going to certainly do the colonoscopy that afternoon, you would enjoy received really detailed instructions on how to prepare (ie: completely verbs out your bowels) prior to the appointment.
