Weighing the options of which IUD to use, advice?

I in recent times have my consult near my OB/GYN today. I told her that I required to switch from the patch to the IUD. I own done my research but I am a touch confused on which one to capture. My OB/GYN recommended the copper IUD, but I mode of want to attain the Mirena because the kismet of have no more period. She asked how my period be since I be on bith control. I enjoy be on BC for in the region of 5 years in a minute and I hold 1 child. As soon as have my child I go on BC. I really don't remember what my period be close to back BC. My doctor told me that they really single confer the Mirena to the women who enjoy heavier crampy period. So she recommend the copper IUD. I am purely afraid of what my period will be close to next to the copper IUD. Can anyone furnish me counsel on which one would be devout to go and get?

Oh my gosh DO NOT GET THE COPPER! I get the copper (para guard) and my period get worse and heavier and afterwards i be told it would not budge away. If she will not bequeath you the mirena progress to another doctor where on earth they will. BTW thats false that they individual offer the mirena to women next to stout period, i be given the choice and i picked wrong :(
