Birth Control PATCH Side Effects?

I put the patch on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day I be throwing up roughly speaking every 30 minutes. I wait until unsettled that hours of darkness to nick it past its sell-by date and when I did, no more throwing up! Anyone else own this problem?
