Do you have to be on your period to get Mirena?

I own a doctor's appointment on Tuesday to return with Mirena--they have estimated I would enjoy partly into my cycle later. My period are extremely unpredictable; I haven't started all the same but am showing shaky signs of bleeding. Should I end my appointment? Reschedule? Or is placement possible when you aren't bleeding?

Missing my pill?

No, you don't own to be on your time of year to bring back Mirena. You should contact your doctor to see when they prefer to insert it, though. They may prefer to insert it during your time of year. My doctor inserted mine when I be not bleeding, so it is possible. I am including a intermingle to the website. It have answers to copious of the FAQ.

Don't be panicky away from Mirena by what other general public utter on here. I own have it for a year presently, and I love it.
