Dr. Weil, what are "bone risks" with Boniva. At the cellular level, and why is caution not to stop taking it.
I hold be on Boniva for 4 mos. Delayed dosage at 5th mo. due to intestinal burning, which may or may not be related to Rx, but of concern. Is this drug adjectives that protected to pocket? I hold osteoporosis, hold be on calcium for years due to lactose intolerance. I lug a multiple vitamin on a daily basis, supplemented beside fish grease, gingko biloba,vit E, and glucosamine chondroitin MSM. My age is 70 and
a lifetime smoker. I know this is contradictory to adjectives of my vigour.
I know the result to quit smoking would be the best RX for adjectives my problems, but I hold tried and cannot do it. I become an intense wreck. Actually my condition have be apposite, I am on no RX near exception of Boniva, my B.P. is wnl and pulse too. My counterbalance is wnl, and I am moving and animated, My concern presently is to know if Boniva is really past the worst for me to pocket, and how long should one whip it. Once started I don't see that within 1 yr. I would no longer obligation it. My osteoporosis is severe, red zone, bone studies.

That one said, you're on MSM/Glucosamine.... I would recommend looking further into that. MSM have be clinically proven to facilitate reciprocated misery. Plus, it comes near no associated risks.
