Soft tampons, what are the advantages over ordinary tampons?

i have never hear of soft tampons.
the only article i can think of is the silk facility by o.b. and they make them turn in easier.
if i am mistaken, later what is a brand that makes soft tampons, i would approaching to research it. :)
Well I would assume the obvious reason would be that they go surrounded by easier and are more comfortable. They don't hurt.
