How would a Scorpion sting affect me during pregnancy?

I'm 29 weeks along and live in Arizona. It has be quite drizzly outside, which brings the scorpions out of their hidding places and into the houses. We have be extremly lucky so far and have individual seen late ones inside and killed 2 outside, but my hubby is worried how it would affect me and the toddler if i get stung. Most of the time they explain to you to take motrin, but i don't muse I can do that when pregnant...So what do i do? I have an appointment the 26th and will ask afterwards, but was curiouse what you guys thought...THANKS!!

Consult your doctor if you gain stung between now and your appointment.

Most scorpion stings are not cruel, but they can be painful.

Even if you aren't competent to take motrin the distress associated with a scorpion sting is bearable. I be recently stung on the wrist. Sharp dull pain immediately, followed by pins and needles for a few days. The nouns felt numb and sore to the touch but I still have full control and dexterity of my hand and arm. Minor shooting sensations that would run up to my elbow.

If you exhibit numbness and tingling beyond the artificial limb I would recommend seeing a specialist without beating about the bush.

Also, read my wemjournal source article. In the study conducted, 2 pregnant women that were stung by scorpions be both given an antivenom and it mentions their fetuses remain stable. There are, however, some scorpion stings that are more potent and may result in permanent hurt or death of the fetus.

Of the three scorpion stings I hold personally specified to occur, two of them be the result of leaving clothing on the floor and picking it up. One crawled into the vent of a coup??. Scorpions love to hide, so hang on to your dirty clothes in a picnic basket or basket.

I'm not a doctor, you should consult your physician should you grasp stung.

In the last few years my extent is light and short. Why is that?

i focus the poison will posibly kill you infant. Im not sure though.

I'm starting birth control for the first time and I'm confused about something. When can I start?

depends on the scorpion. I don't come up with the ones in Arizona are the deep kind so it would of late be like a bleak bee sting. The biggest problem would be you inability to take anything for the cramp beyond external medications to the actual site.
