Anybody know how long it takes the birth control pill to budge into effect?

I started taking the pill about 1 week ago.. I do not recall if they said a month or something else...just wondering when it would properly go into affect. my fiance and I do not want to risk getting pregnant at this time so we want to net sure the pill is working.

Yes I can tell you. You hold to wait one full cycle to be covered by the Pill. That is until your term returns after taking the first cycle of pills.
But were you warn that vomiting/diarrhea can effect the absorption of the pill? And some antibiotics can negate the value too? Let the doctor know if you need any other medication when on the pill. And unsurprisingly if you miss one, you are not covered until one full cycle after?
Use a condom or abstinence if those conditions exist, as economically as continuing the pill, to remain safe.

I think it take at least 2 weeks so cause sure you are using other contraception too....

I be always told to also use a condom the first month. Then you should be ok.

one month.. your body needs to shift through one full cycle. So, I would wait.

Generally it is recommended to use another form of birth control for a month to make sure the pill have taken effect.
