A give somebody the third degree for the ladies: weight gain and pms/period stomach-ache...?

I just finished up my freshman year of college and I gain a lot of weight-at most minuscule 15 pounds (I'm 5'2" so it really shows...I weigh 120 right now). Also, in days gone by 12 months my pms and period cramps own become extremely painful to the point where on earth they are starting to interfere with my energy. In the nine years that I've had my time I have other had a touch discomfort, but nothing this severe until not long. Could the weight gain be related to a hormone alteration? Has anyone else experienced body changes close to these? Thanks!

I have only just had some issues concerning my period.?

Wow, crazy story. My first year of college i gained "The Freshman 15" too.. im 5'2 and i weigh 120. haha
The only bearing to loose the weight is to not guzzle junk at university, pack lunches, keep snacks contained by your back pack that are tough. and go to a gym or work out... Im wager on down to 107 and its nice.. my clothes fit again... And as far as the period go, they make birth control pills resembling "YAZ" that minimize the symptoms of pms pains and stuff. it works but it could make you gain cargo.. so u have to pick your battle...
Weight gain or pain..
Id business deal with the niggle and start working out even on your period days because working out minimizes the strain. Also just nouns up on MIDOL and use a heat pack down where on earth it hurts.
