What type of recovery is required after have 1/2 of your uterus removed due to Cervical cancer?

Answers:

Girls ONLY!?

It depends on if they are going to do the surgery vaginally or abdominally.

But because they only going to remove the uterus they may go through the vagina.
Your Doctor should enjoy already discussed this.

If you have a vaginal removal you are up the subsequent day walking. Oh we are cruel! And home after a year or two. Recovery at home can then hold about 2 or 3 weeks previously completely healed. Depending too on how you usually alleviate from surgery.

If it is abdominal surgery the recovery time is longer as it's through surgery.
You are still up the next time and home about 4 days post op. Recovery can clutch up to 6 weeks before you consistency yourself again.

Write down all your question and ask your Doctor. Write down his/her answers too. It helps like mad.

I'm not a doctor, but I would influence at least 6-8 weeks to win over the surgery. If you have to own cancer treatment after the procedure, it may take longer. Good luck and God Bless. I hope you own a speedy and full recovery.

6-8 weeks is usually the seizure time for most major surgery.
