Yes, my cousin had precancerous cell in her cervix due to a heritable condition. My neighbor on the other hand, only had to own her cervix and her uterus scraped last week because she have precancerous cells. She have HPV though. Were these cell detected during a PAP test? Precancerous cell does not mean HPV is present. One is not necessarily related to the other. Your OB-GYN will keep hold of an eye on this and may want to do a D&C or some other procedure. Make sure you make and hang on to regular checkups. Good luck
