Is it good to grasp the mirena iud if i dont have any kids some one told me within is a?
Answers:
An IUD - newly like ANY other type of contraceptive - is NOT 100% impressive. However, since human error is taken out of the equation, it is less imagined that you will become pregnant through something YOU do (i.e., not use the method correctly).
That being said, it is inadvisable for a nulliparous woman (one who have never had a babe to term) to use an IUD. This is because there is a much superior incidence of uterine perforation and uterine expulsion of the device than a parous woman (one who has given birth), as the uterine wall is much stiffer and inflexible.
It should also be noted that 1 in 5 women will own their device removed within 12 months due to medical emergency or adverse side effects (cramping, prolonged bleeding, irregular menses, mood swings, etc).
I strongly urge you to look into a different form of contraceptive; if you're considering Mirena because you have problems next to pills, be aware that Mirena ALSO has hormones. .Just an FYI.
