First time hot flashes and behind time period..perimenopausal symptoms..typical.?

I'm 46, experiencing a lot of hot flashes for the first time contained by my life over the finishing 4-6 weeks..my period is also roughly speaking a week late...are these adjectives normal perimenopausal symptoms?

Yes they are!
My first indication be late term (6 weeks w/o) and I had be having hot flashes for a few months. I be 44 at the time. All the GP would say is " your perimenopausal", but another doc in fact did a blood test to check the level of FSH.
(I told him I was any pregnant or menopausal and I needed to know!)
I ended up w/o a extent for about 3 months and since next the flashes have gotten a bit better, but having mor regular type period?! Every 6-7 weeks, but 2 weeks at a time?!
Good luck, and if you are concerned go to your Dr. and hold them do the test! Its unproblematic!
If the hot flases are really bothering you, I have friends who swear by black cohash...you can draw from it a the drugstore.

Ok Im no expert but to be considered menopausal you enjoy to have stopped have your cycle for 5 to 6 consecutive months. You very all right could be in the incredibly begining though I have be following my mother in law going through duplicate thing and her Dr said its pre and theres zilch they can do right now but she started taking esroven and it seem to help her hotr flashes and oblige her sleep. Its normal but I suggets to you to travel and see a doctor because the doctor can give you the prescription that will reduce the symptoms.
