High Blood Pressure and Hysterectomy?

My sister is 37. She had a hysterectomy 4 months ago. They gone her 1 ovary. She is back at arts school for nursing and they were taking blood pressures of the students. Hers continuously fluctuates. One time it is 160/100, another time it is 120/90. She is a smoker, have 1 child and is modeately overweight. She is not sure if she is suffering from hot flashes or not since she lives where nearby are a lot of warmth waves lately. Our mother passed away at age 40 and the rest of our direct feminine relatives all have hysterecomies before they reach menopause. I am younger than she is, so - could she be going through menopause since she only have 1 ovary? Any help and answers will be appreciated.

How plentiful growth spurts can a girl have?

Although your sister isn't menstruating since her uterus be removed during the surgery, she's still able to ovulate usually. She's got one ovary; when for some judgment a person have one organ removed {like a kidney, a lung, even a portion of the liver}, the organ that's left into the body overtakes the functions of the other. It's not imagined for her to be going through menopause at so an early age. But since she's get moderate high blood pressure, is overweight, and is a smoker, she must frequently quality "suffocated", specially if she lives in a hot climate. I'm close to your sister's age -39-, a smoker, overweight, I've get high blood pressure and live surrounded by a hot climate, and I feel matching symptoms {"suffocated", just approaching hot flashes} as your sister. It's very high-status that she take her blood pressure medication exactly as prescribed; if she isn't person treated for this condition, she must visit her attending physician ASAP. Untreated elevated blood pressure is a "silent killer"; it damages the heart and arteries until the person get a myocardial infarction {heart attack}, causing binding disability or even death. Right immediately, heart disease is the leading lead to of death for women of our age group (24 to 45). I don't contained by any way suggest to scare you or your sister; as a nurse it's my duty to convey you the risks involved in this situation and the ways to prevent further hurt to her cardiovascular system. She must also limit her intake of caffeinated drinks {soda, tea, coffee}, soaking wet fats and spicy foods. I hope that your sister gets in good health soon, and that my advise have been conscientious.

Does anyone get really tired rite b4 their time?

Our genetics own a lot to do beside the way our bodies turn out. You can't achieve a clear cut answer here - she will need to see a doctor.

Period cramps!?

Its unlikely. I enjoy had just one ovary for more than thirty years now and still own not gone through the menopause. The hot flashes may be do to your sisters blood pressure. This must be stablized as quickly as possible. She does inevitability to quit smoking and limit her caffine intake and use up the amount of salt contained by her diet.
Best wishes to you all.

Tummy tuck?

High blood pressure is not a side effect of have a hysterectomy, with or short ovaries. Also, if she doesn't know if she's had a hot flash or not, consequently she hasn't had one. I also have a hysterectomy at a young age (25), and the hot flashes are horrible. Back to blood pressure, if she is moderately overweight and smokes, she can expect her blood pressure to fluctuate. She requests to exercise and either stop or slow down on the smoking. Also, and I can inform you this from experience, nursing school contained by itself will cause glorious blood pressure :-)

What's wrong with me?

I am 35yrs.prehistoric and I had a hysterectomy 4 mos. ago. I own had problems next to my blood pressure since my surgery. The first thing I did be go see my doctor so he could bestow me a presc. for high blood pressure, afterwards I started exercising and watching what I was intake and drinking. It took me a week to lose the 10lbs. I gained contained by two weeks(not to mention the fact that I am a single mother of three children who constantly keep me active).I do have both of my ovaries and my tubes but I be told that losing one or both ovaries will cause you to experience menopause previously.I am aware of the fact that I will also hit menopause soon so as we speak I am doing my research on which type of hormone treatment I will be taking.I hope your sister go call in her doctor very soon because giant blood pressure is nothing to play next to.
