What is your experience next to an IUD?

I am thinking about getting an IUD (Or my hubbie getting a vas). I am strung-up about it affecting my mood (hormones,) just about it staying in, about side effects, give or take a few checking it, etc. Please let me know what you devise. (I don't want any more kids)

Can the strong smell from my vagina be linked to my IUD and can it be deadly?

My experience as a doctor (gynae)

IUD is probably one of the safest & reliable mode of contraception. It is falling out of favour because of horror stories surrounding its use. I walk off this part to other reader.

From a medical point of view, the (copper) IUD DOES NOT alter your feminine hormones in any channel. It may cause increased menstrual blood loss but it never disturbs your cycles. Some women do complain of crampy pains. But mostly, these side effects are short-lived.

The biggest risk next to an IUD is actually let-down due to the thing slipping out. This occur most commonly during the first menstruation after fitting. Therefore, your doctor will usually ask you to come back for a scan going on for a month after having one fitted.

You did not specify your age. But vitally, IUDs contain either copper or a locally moving hormone called levonorgestrel. The copper IUDs come surrounded by either 3-year or 5-year expiry flap. The hormone laced ones are for standard 5-year use. The hormone-laced IUDs steal away the problem of increased menstrual blood loss associated with IUDs WITHOUT altering its value or disturbing your female hormones.

Typically, IUDs are changed every 3 - 5 years (depending on the type) but the ultimate IUD, inserted after age 45, need not be removed until 1 year after your menopause.

As i said, you will hear heaps horror stories about IUDs. But its resembling airplanes - safest mode of transportation but fatal errors do go on.

Talk to your doctor about it.

Is IT NORMAL FOR A TEENAGER TO BE HORNY ALL OF THE TIME?SERIOUS QUESTION?

The IUD is a markedly effective form of birth control and one that does not effect moods because hormones are not involved in most. They stay in until a doctor take them out for you. Your husband can check to see if the small string is still dangling from your os (the tiny hole leading into your uterus) if you are at adjectives squeamish about checking inside your vaginal conduit. Good luck with your ruling.

What si the best way to lose immensity?

Well from what I have hear the side affects are much worse than they put on, my friend had one and she be so moody. Another one of my friends who had it be also moody but in a different method, It was similar to she had A doubble character, she was optimistic one miniute and the next she be throwing things at my head, and I hadnt done anything. Both of them be also married, and now one is divorsed (take a guess) and the other is bordering on divorse, I really want you to think almost this because it can really mess with your mood, really weakly, some people dance into severe dipprestion and other just draw from extreamly moody (Some stories that I have hear from people). So just construct sure that this is what you want to do.

What is s.?

I've had the Mirena once, and getting another in 2 weeks and I'm super excited! I experienced shorter, and sometimes NO period, plus it was great not have to remember to take a pill everyday!

The Mirena have hormones, but there are other option that do not - just research and make conversation to you dr to find out what is best for you!

How can i get rid of the large in my hips and posterior?

I had a copper IUD for two years. They do NOT affect your mood contained by any way. My period were heavier, and it come out on it's own (partially), and had to be removed. The measure of the uterus and insertion were in principle painful. The removal be not. Insurance did not cover it.

Plz help me!!?

I own the Mirena and love it. My husband can not have a vas. because of other robustness issues so this was the best choice for us. I want I would have gotten it sooner. I be really worried about it coming out..so far so obedient. It has merely changed my moods in a suitable way. No more PMS...or starchy painful period.
