Tinea Versicolor - does it take worse before it get better?

I have tinea on my foot and in between my boobs. I enjoy been treating it beside an antifungal cream for about a week - not a impressively noticeable difference. Then, I tried Selsun Blue later night. I departed it on for 15 minutes or so, then tried it this morning and gone it on for 45 minutes or so. I heard this be a good treatment for it, and that it should disappear more like a shot. Well, after I rinsed it off this morning and showered near the Selsun Blue, I noticed that the spot between my breasts be even more red! The brown spots are still there, but at hand are almost tiny little pimples - as if the skin is irritated. Maybe it is, or maybe it is getting worse? Any accepted wisdom! All the spots started as reddish pink spots and progressed to brownish spots. So, if the spots are turning more redish pink, does this suggest the treatment is working?

i too suffered with that for YEARS,,,,started on my belly consequently spread to my back my pay for was covered contained by it,my chest was subsequent and then it started to creep up my collar and on my face (ICK). i finally go to a dermatologist and they put me on an anti-fungal medication for 10 days,it cleared up and i have be "fungus" free for almost a year. i too tried the creams and sprays and selsum blue, if you have it as unpromising as i did it will not go away on its own. Mine be bad plenty that the surface treatments didnt reach the problem,you stipulation to fight it from the inside out
