well first off they're call tampons not tampoons and yes they are good for your body but logically everything has a con. Tampons save you very dry and be aware of great on your period, but unsurprisingly if you leave it contained by for more than 8 hours you can get a awfully rare but serious side affect call TSS (toxic shock syndrom) so as long as you change it in the past 8 hours they work great, they are comfortable, and not at all gross similar to the person above me said she is basically being fresh, they are great just create sure you use them safely.

I don't use tampons because first, they hurt resembling hell the first couple times you use them. Also, its easy to forget going on for them and forget to take it out and correct it. I read about this one girl who wore a tampon, consequently fell asleep for a few hours and forgot to change the tampon. It infected something inside her and immediately she can't have kids.
Tampons are too big a risk to use. Just be on the risk-free side and don't use them.
