Irregular time of year...what could be going on?

First, let me articulate that i WILL be making an appointment with the gyn on monday...but for very soon, I could use some help figure out what's up.

6 weeks ago I started my period (seemed normal), stopped bleeding after 2 days, gloomy at-home preg. test. Started bleeding a sunshine and a half then for 2 more days. Just to be sure, took another test- negative. 28 days then, had a average period. Felt PMS- approaching yesterday, and now I've started bleeding solely 2 weeks from the 1st day of my final period.

I quality totally normal contained by between periods- my cycle just seem to be out of whack. Any ideas, or anyone beside similar experience?
