don't be confused... there is zilch embarrassing in the order of it...believe me, in three or four years you will snigger at yourself for how nervous you be. If you don't feel comfortable next to your mom, ask a friends mom, or your nurse or any other close adult...you will be surprised how several other girls are going through the exact same thing...i be just as alarmed and embarrassed as you.
