Fibroids, any luck beside Fibrovan or Neprinol ?

If you're trying to regulate your periods, you probably don't want something that stops it approaching the depo shot! Talk to your doctor about a combination hormonal contraceptive pill or the nuva ring. Both would work in regulating your period and if you go monophasic you can use menstrual supression if you close to.

The only hormonal contraceptive proven to grounds significant weight gain is the depo provera shot. "The pill" might produce slight weight gain from river retention, but nothing more than a few pounds. There are other side effects though, some which can be serious and you should parley to your prescribing doctor or pharmacist about your concerns.

So, imitation breasts are "bad", saggy breasts are "bad", so which is worse?

I got on the depo shot a few years ago and it stopped my interval all together. I still own weird irregular period, but pretty much for the time I was on the shot I didn't catch periods. They vote that weight gain can be a side effect, but it didn't crop up with me...

Masterbating cross-question?

There is no telling what the "best" hormonal birth control method is for you until you've tried it. Every woman's body processes hormones differently; a pill your friend, sister, or being on womenanswers.org says works wonderfully for them, you may be dying to budge off of! This is why in attendance's so many pill brands on the flea market.

There have be no conclusive studies that birth control pills cause bulk gain. The minimal amount that was found (a couple pounds per year) could smoothly be avoided by proper diet and exercise.

Your doctor will recommend a pill for you based on your medical history and any benefits you aspiration to gain, for example reduced acne, lightened menstrual bleeding/cramping, etc. You typically try a pill for three months, later report to your doctor any bothersome side effects and discuss switching to one less promising to cause them.
