What your friend has is an intake disorder called "Pica". It took me a while to pinpoint the first name because every search one and only involved dogs or other animals eating their feces and it be under a different entitle.
Anyway, it states that this occurs more commonly contained by small children and that its more frequent in children beside mental retardation and autism. The cause for consumption non-edible materials (not just poop) is unknown but they do own some factors that contribute to it, including: Nutritional deficiency, Cultural and familial factors, Learned way of life, Biochemical disorder, etc.
You should tell a guidance counselor and own them speak to her parents and hopefully they can get her to a professional (doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist) and digit out whats making her do that and get it fixed.
That is something strange to hear from your friend but that shouldnt be a intention to stop talking to her. Try to get hold of her some help and be in attendance for her but if it freaks you out that much, let her know thats why you want to stop one friends and dont tell everyone you know because that would produce you a terrible friend.

If you still like her, in a minute is not the time to turn away from her... it sounds like she could use a worthy friend right now.There really is a tiny tiny group of family in this world who wallow in the taste of poop, or achieve a sexual rush from playing with it or ingestion it. I don't get it myself... It doesn't nouns like she is one of those...
It sounds more similar to she has an drinking disorder like anorexia, and this can be deep! People with ingestion disorders also usually have other psych issues resembling low self-esteem. It can also be a psychological effect of abuse.
If you two are contained by school, try to (gently!) steer her towards the institution psychologist. If you're out of school, research your county robustness department for counseling resources and try to get her to bargain to you and maybe attain her in to see someone that agency.
Yes, it's really gross, but it could be a cry for help, or at lowest a sign she really needs some professional vigilance...
