Nair or shaving?

I heard that nair make the hair thinner, and it last longer than shaving, but nair you have to donate it on for like 5 min ...but shaving is faster...but what in the order of razor bumps? basically for armpits and legs...NO WAXING FOR ME! just want to know what you presume is better and what you use...
