When you first start the pill pack, it will take a few months to go and get your cycle to get within sync with the pills. SO you COULD draw from your period deferred, or it could come when the placebo pills come.

The time should not start until you are on the pink or "placebo" pills. The other pills are the hormones, then for a week you stir without so you can hold your period. Read the insert that comes near because it explains how and when you should start taking them.

Kidney stones?

Doctors other recommend that you start the pill right after your period. I other started the Sunday after, even if your period started that Sunday. Some ethnic group start on different days, but the packs are geared usually for a Sunday start near the calendar. I would wait for your subsequent cycle, you don't want to mess up the shedding of your uterine lining by doing it rotten it's normal course.

I'm sure it would come behind if you started pills in the middle of your cycle because you will be taking stirring pills at the time you would normally go and get your period. You achieve your period during the at rest pills. I wouldn't mess with your cycle too much. My period got more predictable next to the pill then short it, I would consult your gyn.
