Has anyone tried/or is using Mirena for birth control?

Answers:

Whats the best way for this 50-year feeble woman to lose weight?

I own the Mirena IUD and love it. I had no anguish having it inserted but some women hold cramping. I no longer suffer from painful heavily built periods. I have spotting off and on (more on afterwards off) for the first six months but then it settles down and I spot once a month.

My vagina smellsplease help out!?

Mirena is an excellent form of birth control. It's a small T-shaped device inserted into a woman’s uterus by a healthcare professional. This type of birth control prevents pregnancy by stopping sperm and the egg from joining on their way to the fallopian tubes, or by altering the endometrium so the fertilized egg cannot become implanted. A levonorgestrel (a progestin) releasing reworked copy (Mirena), which must be replaced every five years, is available. According to the FDA, the failure rate for this method is smaller amount than 1 percent.

And here's some excellent info on brith control, generally. It's always a fitting idea to be armed, until that time we head for the doctor's. : )

Whatabout sex?

I had it put surrounded by about 1 year ago and own loved it for the most part. No pill to remember, I don't even know it's in attendance. It freaked me out at first b/c you have this little string lifeless down way up inside of you, but it doesnt hang up outside of you. You're suppossed to check it to see if you can still feel the string every month or so, and that's pretty glib too. The only item that i don't like, is that it does hold a very small amount of hormone contained by it, which can cause a bit weight gain. But the certainty that I dont have to remember to nick a pill, and it's more effective than the pill, make it all worth while.
