" massive" is a subjective descriptive residence , abut I would guess if the radiologist is using it , then the cyst is more than expected 6 cm or more in diameter . Cysts are fluid chock-a-block masses that can develop a short time ago about anywhere , but the most adjectives place in women is involving the ovaries and adnexal regions of the pelvis . they can be simple ( clear fluid) , or complex ( chock-full with blood , or gummy puss like material). 99% are benign , but at hand are a few very in danger of extinction ovarian carcinomas that present with a complex cyst configuration .

treatment vary upon your personal health history and you Doctor. they may treat next to hormones to try and resolve the cyst , or they may opt for a surgical intervention . It all depends .

As far as the difference between the three mentioned expressions ...all are matching . the are all synonyms for an ultrasound , and relatively interchangeable as such .

Good luck !
