Heavy Periods?

im 35yrs old and have heavy period since i can remember but these pass years they have gotten more heavier, they last for 7days straight the just good item about it i don't carry no cramps but i do have to miss work for a week incentive they are so heavy. i be to my doctor already and had surgery to receive them lighter, it work for about two months and than they get heavier again, my doctor suggested a Hysterectomy but i wanted to see if here was anything else perchance i can do to make my period more lighter than a hysterectomy any suggested please..

Birth control can form your periods lighter. A hysterectomy is drastic, but so is strapping bleeding and not being competent to go to work.

There is also a prescription drug that your doctor can prescribe - Sodium Meclofenemate, which will stop the blood flow.

Those are the only things of which I am aware.

However, if you've have an operation in charge to try to decrease the amount of the flow, it would indicate that at hand may be an underlying problem (maybe fibroids or something else) causing your bleeding. If so, the aforementioned prescriptions may not be viable for you. Consult your doctor to be sure.
