Heavy Periods?
Thanks.
Answers:
Birth control can form your periods lighter. A hysterectomy is drastic, but so is strapping bleeding and not being competent to go to work.
There is also a prescription drug that your doctor can prescribe - Sodium Meclofenemate, which will stop the blood flow.
Those are the only things of which I am aware.
However, if you've have an operation in charge to try to decrease the amount of the flow, it would indicate that at hand may be an underlying problem (maybe fibroids or something else) causing your bleeding. If so, the aforementioned prescriptions may not be viable for you. Consult your doctor to be sure.
Best of Luck to you!

A hysterectomy is certainly a drastic step. You should specifically seek a second belief. However, if you want more information on hysterectomy, check out http://healthbase.wordpress.com/2007/04/...
