I would suggest you ask nearly Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome...some of the symptoms can seem approaching its thyroid related...This includes weight gain, excessive body hackle especially on the face and collar, irregular period, soaring blood pressure, insulin resistance or diabetes. I have 'hypothyroidism' and am 'surrounded by menopause' ... which is 'normal' since I'm 56 ... but since I have 'precocious puberty' (my first period be when I was 7) I should still be have regular periods and not even 'start peri-menopause' until I'm 65 (that's so 'not reasonable' to start early and consequently 'end unsettled' but it's what happens to most women) ... so my doctor does consider my 'menopause' to be Premature Ovarian Failure ... and I CAN NOT TAKE HORMONES because I've have two heart attacks and now hold 'serious heart disease' which is also from the 'hypothyroidism' ... so have your doctor check your 'ekg' and see if that isn't 'a bit unusual' too ... because heart problems can also cause 'period problems' close to you are having ...- What are some causes for abnormal periods?
