Pain during bowel movements- hemorroid or fissure?

During my 36th wk of pregnancy, I was diagnosed w/ hurting thrombosed external hemorroid. It's been 3 months since I have my baby & the hemorroid is still in attendance (no longer thrombosed). I've been taking fiber supplements resembling metamucil to prevent constipation but I've noticed every month (since giving birth) I will hold painful bowel movements that capacity from a couple of dys to 1 week. The pain is approaching a sharp razor or twinge and it happen during actual bowel movement. There is no blood (at least none I can see). Afterwards, in that is typically pain that last for 1 hr or so; sometimes itching. These symptoms go away until the subsequent time I go. Again, it doesn't evolve every day but at most minuscule a couple of dys per month. Is this normal (the certainty that this does not happen every time?) & how can I update if the pain is the result of my existing hemorroid or a fissure that may own developed post-birth? Any advice on how to prevent these scratchy occurences would be great. Thank you!

The hemorrhoids were module of ur pregnancy. The enlarging uterus normally times impinges on the bld vessel and so causes the vessel to engorge. However, ur pregnancy is now over but U still get them.

My advice is: The body, when short of hose will always find ways to procure water inwardly. The only source will be thru the foods that U embezzle. The intestine will try to suck every drop of water to hydrate the body. This results within a dry, hard feces that will explanation strain in ur rectum causing affliction and even wounds. So the best way to correct ur problem is by drinking lots of hose, not any fluid. Water is what the body requirements and U must meet the demands to be all right all the time. So how much dampen shld U take? Upon wake up in the morning, rob 16 oz of water fast. Then take 8 ounces every time U urinate. This will replace the lost hose down. Then take another 16 ounces at bedtime. This will hydrate U while U are asleep and will be apt till U wake up the following morning. This will prevent the intestines to forcibly win every drop of water surrounded by ur feces and so wld help U save ur stools soft and have a more comfortable, easier evacuation the following morning.

Pls avoid caffeine containing beverages similar to coffee, tea, sodas, chocolates and alcoholic beverages. They are diuretics and will cause U to dry up and bring backbone ur constipation.

Usually your bowel movements are painful when they are firm. Try adding a stool softener along near your fiber, so your stools are softer. If it is still painful, it is probably your hemmorhoids. If they don't reorganize with time, you may call for them removed. Also try some Preparation H, that helps shrink the swelling, allowing for the stool to come out easier. It's generous of scarey thinking I know so much about this stuff : )

Return of the monthlies -- aka, cycles during breastfeeding?

Try stool softeners. My doctor told me they're non-hazardous, so don't be afraid to take a couple till you obtain relief (maybe a couple days tops.) And I use Miralax. It's finally sold over the counter, but it's much cheaper to attain a script from your doctor for the generic. Try it first , and see if it works. Put a tablespoon within water every morning. Stir and drink. Give it a couple days to work too. I really discern for you. That pain sucks. I other keep a couple of Fleet disposable enemas contained by the house for emergencies! It sounds like you stipulation something to make your stools softer, drink more fiber and if you have hemroids sit surrounded by a bathtub near warm marine and epsum salt.

The epsum brackish will shrink the hemroids, then put vacaline on them. It will oblige them slide back where on earth they belong and stay small.
