I think this depends on your age and the state you live within. If you have to ask, you're probably too young-looking to have sex anyway!

from what i understand, you own to be at least 18 to bring back birth control from your family doctor. if you jump to planned parenthood, i know they provide you free birth control if you're a student, but i'm not sure if you have to be endorsed or not.

yes, you can. Go to Planned Parenthood. But consider that if you get pills, your parents might find the pills. If you don't want them to see it, you might consider the Shot.

no, i think if you see your doctor he have to keep it private. he'll tender you a prescription, although you might have to pay envelope for the visit within cash if you don't want it show up surrounded by your parents' insurance bill.

Could she be pregnant??

While I absolutely do NOT recommend that girls start birth control in need their parents' knowledge, the canon states that females of childbearing age have the right to privacy when it comes to anything explicitly sexually related - birth control, STD testing and treatment, etc. Most county robustness departments have free or reduced cost clinics. I cannot in perfect conscience recommend Planned Parenthood.

I worked at a clinic once where a 16 year frail girl came within for an exam to get on the pill. Her pap smear showed precancerous cell and she needed to have a procedure call a colposcopy - clearly something she couldn't afford to pay for on her own - and follow-up, including surgery and chemo/radiation if essential.

This was a tough appointment for the doctor. She spoke to the teenager who didn't want her parents notify because they'd know she had an exam to achieve birth control. The end result is that the doctor HAD to inform her parents who consequently consented to treatment for her dysplasia. She got over the humiliation...and it probably saved her go.

The scary entry was that the girl have been sexually live before she go on the pill, and had be having unprotected sex for at smallest a year with several partner before she go to the doctor.
