How to compensate for hormonal effects from the depo shot? experiences next to sex drive and the mini-pill?

I was on the pill for 6 years earlier planned parenthood refuse to prescribe it to me due to the fact that I enjoy migraine with aura. Apparently that increases my break of stroke. I can't get an iud any becaues of past beefy periods.

I've be on the shot for 2 months now which be great until a couple of weeks ago when my sex drive took a nose dive. It feel as if part of my brain have shut off and I can no longer wallow in sex like I could only a month ago. Sure I can use lube, but if I can't even get aroused whats the point? I know its strictly hormonal as my guy is amazing in bed and I never have a problem before the shot ever.

Are here any ways to compensate for the change of hormones while on the shot? Foods to drink? herbal remedies that have in actuality worked for you? It seems within must be some way to compensate for it psychologically too.

Also would the mini-pill be smaller quantity likely to affect my sex drive? What hold been your experiences?

I don't recommend the depo shot to anyone. I own had more than 1 doctor relay me that shot is related to the reproductive/menstrual problems that I have in a minute from being on it for 2 years. (more than 5 years later) I never have a problem with sex drive but my hormones are are rotten balance presently.
