I have looked at the BV question on this site but could not find an answer. I have used the metro-gel and a pill for 7 days, but everytime the infection keep coming back. Is near any medication that can be taken for this that is newer or stronger than the usually medicine? I REALLY need some give support to. I know what bv is and how to prevent it, which I do not douche, don't have multiple sex partner, etc. Serious answers only please! Thank you!!

I'm going through the same entry as well. I also hold used both treatments. I am still suffering from this. Mine started as a yeast infection that went away and a couple of days latter I got the systems rear so I went spinal column to the Dr.and he told me I had BV and I've be to him 4 times and I still have it. I am married and predictable so I can't understand whats going on any.I wish you luck!

Since the infection is bacterial in nature, are you getting your partner treated as okay? It could be that he's reinfecting you after you've been treated. Its worth exploring.
