Progesterone lesser amount and stress.?

My wife is 40 years old and woke up near nightsweats two nights in a row. She be already suffering from back spasms and later woke up with numbness contained by her hands. At the hospital it be found that she was severley potassium imperfect which was cause the back spasms and cause a pinched nerve. This explained the numbness in her hand. It was also found that her progesterone level were completely depleted. She have started hormone therapy and dietary supplements for the potassium. The interrogate is whether daily stress cause the decreased hormone level, or is it more likely that this could be some pre-menopausal shrink that made her more suceptable to the day to hours of daylight effects of stress.

It could be pre-menopause, but she is still young at 40. You furnish incomplete info. And these symptoms could be caused by a quantity of different diseases. Based on what you said I ask:

Does she drink enough wet? Is she taking any medication that depletes potassium levels?

Is she bulimic or anorexic?

Has she have a hysterectomy?

She has be to the doctor, so I am guessing they asked her all these things and more. The following links contribute information that explains why I asked the questions above.
