Does anyone at all resembling Depo-Provera?

I keep audible range about how much women hatred this birth control.
I've just be prescribed it, instead of Yaz (new version of Yasmin), because it seem that I don't react okay to estrogen. Even though Yaz is the lowest dose of estrogen you can get, have MAJOR problems with it.
I obligation to be on birth control to help next to my severe endometriosis until I can get it surgically removed. So, my doctor think a progestin-only drug will help.

Anyone on Depo-Provera, or know someone who's on it, that actually like it? What are some of the advantages of it?

I only plan on going on it for 2 years, to prevent bone loss, and so that 1 year next I can have a babe.

Has anyone ever heard of Depo-SubQ Provera 104 (a newer reworked copy of the shot)? Are there smaller amount side effects, as it has smaller number hormone?

I be on Depo for 9 years! I loved it! I had no problems at adjectives. The only purpose I went bad of it 2 years ago is because the dr. said I had to because they found out going on for the bone density problem. They had me procure checked for osteoporosis, I am fine. Now they have me on an IUD which I aversion. Well hate is a strong word...but I don't close to it compared to Depo!! Also I didn't have my time of year the whole time I be on Depo! Now with this IUD (Merana) the drs said I still shouldn't attain my period and I do. I get hold of it and it lasts 2 weeks! Depo be great! I recommend it!

Vaginal Odor >_<?

Hi, I would have Loved the shot have it not made me pretty depressed. I didn't gain weight, grow unexpected hair or anything approaching that lol. I did get pretty depressed, however I infer it may have be from other things going on in my life and not so much from the shot. I really like it, though, and would recommend it.

Sex headaches ?

Depo provera is my regret. I would honestly never do it again even if I be payed to get that shot again. There be no advantages but disadvantages, I bled for months at a time, stomach pains, taking a longer time to conceive, hair falling out, pimples, fundamentally moody, growing stomach, sore breast. Girl, the list go on. They really need to whip that crap off the open market.

Bone Loss wiith Depo? It creates bone loss, and dont even p lan on have a baby aftger 1 year. That medication make you so infertile for awhile. The doctor says you turn back right away but its a slouch. If you plan on having period you can kiss that goodbye. one shot stops the entire thing right away from my experience. Depo Sub Q is like thing. Its even worse. It doesnt own less hormone. I triedd it both. =) dont clutch it! lol.
If you want to have kids in a year, try a low dose pill like lo ovral.Ortho Tri LO.

Help me, please, i'm awfully curious..?

I have be on the Depo-Shot off and on for heaps years. The first time I had it my doctors over loaded my system and I finished up having a really rough time w/ it. However the ultimate few times I have taken it I haven't have any side effects. I have never hear of the Depo-SubQ Provera. I have also taken Lupron and I have better success for longer time period then w/ the Depo. Good luck
