It sounds like too much of a rush of hormones to the boss to me. Hormones when in full-size quantities can bring headaches and even strain in persuaded areas.I suggest she takes two paracetamol earlier you start so the effect isn't felt. Failing that, see a doctor.

It's not all that extraordinary, although the same point can help relieve a headache. Maybe they're of late more intense. Or, it is allergy season--maybe she's developing allergies and they're making her head hurt at inopportune times. Those are my best guesses. Good luck.
