Has Chantix worked for you, and if so; how long did it hold?

I just started the 12 week starter pack of Chantix and I dont grain any different. I dont smoke any more ( or less) then when I started the program. Im a 20 yr smoker at going on for 2 packs a morning. The listed side effects such as nasaua, headache, strange dreams, insomnia...havent happened to me, nonetheless! Im almost 2 weeks into this and nothing nonetheless. Im dedicated to making this work and I want to quit. I know several race who quit with this method and I would similar to to hear about others, and how they did it.

After the first week on the drug you're supposed to stop smoking. If you have cigarettes you're going to smoke them regardless of the pills.

When I took Chantix I thought there would be a miracle point where on earth the drugs would kick within and I'd just magically not want a cigarette anymore. That never happen. I smoked through day 8 (when I run out of cigarettes) and never purchased any more. The physical cravings never appeared when I went in need the cigarettes but I still had behavioral cravings. I be used to smoking just beforehand bed, when I woke up in the morning, while driving to work, after lunch, etc. The drug won't oblige you break that part of the infatuation. It'll only support with the physical cravings.

I took Chantix for just about 3 months starting this past October. I haven't smoked since. Good luck!
