Do women usually fire up shrinking in height after menopause or until that time?

Hi, you said your Mom is 46 and has not started menopause. But she is shrinking. You considered necessary to know how that could happen.
Take a look at this article call "Strength, brain power and shrinking through the ages" (URL below). It says relatives start shrinking in their mid-thirties. So what you are seeing is not due to menopause, but due to natural aging. The Baltimore study cited here article said that people stop growing in their twenties (which is why you are still growing at 14), afterwards start shrinking.

Simply put, men and women shrink as they age. The lubricants in our joint dry up, our bones lose mineral density, and even our brains become physically smaller.
According to the most oft-quoted research on this subject, the Baltimore longitudinal study on aging, men at 70 are on average three centimetres or 1.2 inches shorter than they were surrounded by their 20s. For women the difference is five centimetres or nearly two inches.
This compression of the human body certainly picks up steam contained by the latter years, but the sad certainty is aging is a young phenomenon.
According to most studies, the human brain stops growing in its hasty 20s, after which it starts to contract. Muscle strength peaks as a rule around 25. Aerobic strength or oxygen intake maxes out a couple of years subsequently. Height loss starts around 30 in most general public, which is around when bones reach their maximum density. The eyes start to stir in your 40s and your intestines even instigate to shrink.
So -- again -- this has nought to do with menopause, it have to do with getting elder.
