Advice on Birth Control?

No.

Whatever is natural for your body is what is correct.
Some people jump on birth control pills to regulate their cycles, but some studies have shown that women within developed countries (with typically 28-day cycles) tend to have better incidences of female cancer, etc than in poorer countries (where women are pregnant or nursing much of the time).
There is a birth control pill presently that will allow you to have simply 4 periods a year. So, that's probably OK if it be approved, right?

How do you use a tampon? does it break your hymen?

You should talk to your ObGyn.
