Hi
I grasp your worry as I have a few fibroids and one pressing on my bladder - it was pretty a nuisance. You will enjoy to consult your gp on the different types of methods that can be used to rid fibroids. One does not have to hold a hysterectomy unless really necessary (removal of uterus) - these can be shrunk medically by adjectives its blood supply that feeds it, or removed via vagina surgically.
You will be okay as you solely have one fibroid to be treated.
Dont be afraid to ask the doctor for more information on treatment. Fibroids can receive you anaemic and for some cause closely of pain and weighty periods too. All the best.

21 and missing period?

hi had same problem and this is what they are doing for me Endometriosis look it up.its a procedure where on earth a ballonn is inserted and hot fluid put in.i'm due to have it subsequent week i'll let you [email protected]..

My vagina itches but near is no white discharge comming outwhat could it be?

yes, there are a few different option. many docs will suggest you a moment ago leave it as some surgery can effect your likelihood of fertility, as any scarring to the uterus will effect the chances of an embrioimplanting into the wall of the womb. but as this one is rather big and causing you some problems, they may operate. the difficulty contained by this is tat you and the fibroid share the same blood supply. A laporoscapy may be the chance (key hole surgey) they go contained by thru a small incision in the belly button with a camera, locate the fibroid, consequently make 2 or 3 more incigions in your lower tummy, about the size of a 5p. This road, they can remove the fibroid with little scarring. Unfortunately though, fibroid will grow backbone if you are in child carriage age, if you are prone to them

Will I be ok?

A new treatment be just announced finishing week or so. I will look it up. I'm quite sure I saw it on Yahoo word.

The treatment is called Uterine Fibroid Embolization. Your doctor would communicate you if any treatment is required. Many women live with fibroid tumors until menopause is finished. It depends on the severity and the amt of torment, etc. the woman suffers.

My best friend had several fibroids, which caused cramping and extra bleeding. She have two successful pregnancies and is just fine. Other family opt for surgery and now this newer treatment, which is smaller number invasive with no surgical adjectives.

Sex pain next to an iud?

Your treatment options depend on how the fibroid is growing and what your adjectives fertility plans are. Your's is not huge as fibroids go, but it's not miniscule any. If you want to have kids, you will most imagined need it removed as if it does not freshly go away by itself(which they once in a blue moon do) It may be hard for you to conceive and transport a baby to possession.

Moreover, if the fibroid is an intrauterine fibroid, meaning it is growing into the side of your uterus and not only growing out into your uterus from the surface, they will likely own to go within and cut it out, and also cute a whole contained by your uterus. While no big deal really, if you plan to conceive contained by the next couple of years, you will hold to have a C-section.

If it is not grrowing into your uternine wall, they will freshly do a simple D&C and you will be fine. Fibroids do grow back somewhat often so don't be surprised if that happen.

Some smaller fibroids can be shrunk with hormones, that may be an opportunity as well.

I have a 2 1/2 CM fibroid that was not intrauterine and only had a D&C and be totally fine. You will have cramps approaching a period for just about 3-4 days and of course bleeding, but no biggie. Mine be removed last June and to my experience has not grown backbone. Good luck.
