Effects of Birth Control on Lab Tests?

I have other been a bushy female since I started puberty. My dad's side of the clan, especially my dad, is really hairy. There's singular one other female, my aunt, beforehand me, and she is hairy, but doesn't enjoy any facial hair that I can notify. Anyway, since I assumed I was furred due to that factor, I never had my hormones tested until only just. I went to the doctor to see if my hirsutism be related to PCOS. I had a lab question paper done, which tested all sorts of hormones. I have been on birth control for give or take a few 3 months at that point. When the lab tests come back, they be all down the middle mundane. Would the Pill have have that significant of an effect on the validity of the lab results?
