I hold severe nipple tenderness what could be the lead to?

A dermoid is a kind of cyst that contains tissue that would typically occur within another part of the body -- anything from skin and spike cells, to flab and teeth. Most ovarian cysts contain fluid, but dermoid cysts consist of solid tissue and are very dying out. Most are asymtomatic, but occasionally a cyst might twist or burst cause pain and infection, so it is best to hold it removed. As long as the surgeon doesn't remove your ovary(ies), it should not affect your fertility.

Birth control help?

Please get that this is personal experience ONLY and I am not a doctor. I had a dermoid teratoma within my left ovary. It be my understanding that this can occur around this age. I was 24. I be told it is an unfertilized egg that starts to develop like a fetus, but since it have no sperm to provide the other 23 chromosomes, it is not a viable "embryo" or anything. Problem is, that it will keep on growing in your ovary and eventually bring so large (mine get to the size of an orange really fast), that it can plunder your ovary and they have to remove the integral thing. I go to a gynecologial endocrinologist and he actually open me up to remove it from inside the ovary to try and save my fertility (can be done laproscopically but depends on size of dermoid and type). I scrounging, you have 2 ovaries, so loosing one isn't the END of the world or anything. Anyway, I have the surgery and 2 years later get pregnant with no problems whatsoever. My son is 8 in a minute and perfect.

So, if doc say it needs to come out, enjoy the surgery ASAP as I believe that it would increase your chances of retaining your fertility. Good luck and I hope this help and makes you get the impression better.
