Novocaine or not?
I'm due to have a creature biopsy on Wednesday. I'm really a bundle of nerves. My breasts are very tender. The radiologist said she would "numb" the breast near something similar to novocaine. I had multiple shots of that stuff contained by my back, some years ago and hit hurt ever so with respectively injection. I'm just wondering, do you construe it's worth getting numbed or should I just "tough it out".I'm calling in for some Valium to soft me down before the proceedure...

I have a needle biopsy of my breast several years ago----it DOES Hurt-----in my overnight case, it was a long hypodermic with what looked similar to a fish hook on the end---the "fish hook" was inserted in the top of the breast, pushed through the breast and exited below the breast and a very small boater was placed on the "hook"... Like I said, that be several years ago and had I be offered the novocaine, I would have taken it.... when they go in and removed the lump, I be wide awake and individual had them numb the breast...didn't touch a thing after until they got course deep inside my breast and have a few more cuts to make but could not pass me any more lidocaine to numb the area... . A nozzle only hurts for a second, a procedure minus a preceeding shot to numb will hurt a LOT more and for a LOT longer.
if your taking the valium then I focus you don't need the novocaine
