Do I need a referral to turn to the gynecologist?

I just want to travel for a regular check-up but I've never been until that time. Do I have to jump to my Primary doctor first? It seems silly that I would income the co-pay to see my regular doctor just to own him give me a referral to another doctor.where on earth I would need to take-home pay again...

That depends on what insurance plan you have. Generally women don't necessitate a referral to see a gynecologist though. Call your insurance company, their number should be on the back of your card, and verify what you obligation to do with them. They can also relief you find a gyn in your area that participate with your plan.

I enjoy got my 1st time since having my little one almost 3 months ago. I am breastfeeding. Is that normal?

No, you don't inevitability a referal. You are suppose to go once a year anyway. Just find a gynocologist that you are competent to go to, and ring up, make an appointment.

How ripened are you? And why haven't you ever been to the gyno formerly?

Good luck
