Why do Fibroids Cause an Enlarged Uterus?
The uterus is designed to expand to accommodate a growing infant. When fibroids develop, the uterus enlarges within response to fibroid growth. Some women notice a distended belly similar to pre-menstrual bloat; others experience expansion as big as a full term pregnancy.

There are various causes for an enlarged uterus, but the most adjectives is fibroids. The uterus is made up of muscle and often, small "knots" of muscle start to grow independent of the uterus. This can motive the uterus to enlarge. You could enjoy an ovarian mass that is cause the feelings of an enlarged uterus.
